London's fantastic Science Museum is deservedly one of the British capital's major tourist attractions - one of three museums on Exhibition Road in South Kensington. This 'must see' attraction is even more appealing because it is free, and open seven days a week from 10am to 6pm. Visitors enter into the towering East Hall, which extends through all three floors of the vast building, to be met with an array of iconic steam engines and a fascinating assortment of exhibits telling the story of the Industrial Revolution. The journey through the Museum continues with various galleries, such as one dedicated to 'exploring space', and another with a timeline display, 'Making the Modern World', which contains Stephenson's Rocket and an Apollo spacecraft. The Science Museum is close to South Kensington Underground station, and is served by bus 360, marked Kensington Museums, and 14, 74, 414, and C1, marked Victoria and Albert Museum.
